Modern mega-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure developments mandate strict compliance with thermal dynamics and thermodynamic containment principles. As global energy prices surge and climate change directives call for immediate reduction of carbon emissions, the efficiency of industrial piping systems has moved from standard maintenance checkmarks to high-level strategic investments. Procurement managers from EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies, district heating system developers, and HVAC operators now seek sustainable, multi-decade performance configurations.
Specially engineered for petrochemical setups, LNG carrier pipelines, and low-temperature cold chain infrastructures where atmospheric moisture ingress causes massive thermal bridges.
Ensuring volume supply agreements remain intact. Our manufacturing output is tailored to address large-scale regional commercial projects with minimal lead times.
Products meticulously comply with regional regulations like BS 476, CE, REACH, ROHS, UL94, and ASTM, preventing structural liabilities in dynamic architectural projects.
Kingflex Insulation Co., Ltd. is a professional manufacturing and trading combo for thermal insulation products. Kingflex's research development and production departments are located in Dacheng, China—a well-known capital of green-building materials. As an energy-saving, environmentally friendly enterprise, we concentrate on research and development, production, and sales. In operation, Kingflex takes energy saving and consumption reduction as its core concept. We provide solutions regarding insulation by means of consultation, research and development, production, installation guidance, and post-sale service to lead the development of the global building materials industry.
Established by the Jinwei Group, which boasts over 40 years of history, Kingflex carries forward a rich legacy. Jinwei Group, established in 1979, was the first manufacturer of thermal insulation materials north of the Yangtze River. This rich historical baseline underpins our capabilities and ensures deep institutional knowledge in raw material sourcing, chemical foaming, and product durability.
Precision installation of flexible closed-cell elastomeric rubber foam insulation is vital to preventing energy loss, controlling condensation, and mitigating Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI). The following structured roadmap details industrial-grade installation practices.
Ensure the target metal piping surface is completely dry, clean, and free of rust, dust, grease, or chemical residues. Any pre-existing moisture on the pipe will become trapped, promoting rapid CUI under the insulation layer.
For bends, T-joints, and elbows, use specialized miter templates rather than pulling or bending the material manually. Tension in the closed-cell foam compromises cell integrity, creating localized thin spots that reduce thermal efficiency.
Apply a thin, even coat of Kingflex-approved adhesive to both cut edges. Let it become tack-free to the touch, then press the edges together firmly. Proper contact sealing prevents atmospheric moisture from entering the system.
For new pipeline installations, the Slip-On method is highly efficient: simply slide the continuous un-slit Kingflex insulation tubes over the pipe segments before linking them together. For existing runs, apply the Slit-and-Glue method: slit the tube longitudinally, wrap it around the pipe, and securely bond the seam with adhesive. Ensure all joints are staggered on multi-layered systems to prevent thermal bridges.
