Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the temperature range that this insulation material can withstand?
The rubber foam insulation material has a long-term temperature tolerance ranging from -50 degrees to 110 degrees Celsius.
What are the main benefits of the closed-cell foam structure?
The closed-cell structure provides low thermal conductivity, high elasticity, and outstanding resistance to water absorption, ensuring stable long-term thermal performance.
How does the flexibility of the tubing help in piping installations?
The highly elastic and flexible rubber tubing reduces the vibration and resonance of both chilled and hot water piping during system operations.
Does the insulation material meet fire safety standards?
Yes, the material meets stringent fire retardant requirements, achieving Class 0 and Class 1 fire ratings (BS 476 Part 6 & 7) and a 25/50 Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index (ASTM E 84).
What is the typical lifespan of these rubber insulation products?
Due to its ozone, UV, and weather-resistant properties, the material provides a long service life typically ranging from 10 to 30 years.
Are there different types of facings available for the insulation?
Yes, the rubber foam material is available with various facings to suit your application needs, such as FSK Aluminum Foil and Adhesive Kraft.
