China Elastomeric Insulation For Ultra Low Temperature Pipeline Manufacturers, Supplier

When the operating temperature of the pipeline is lower than -180℃,consideration should be given to laying the vapor layer on the ULT of the ultra-low temperature adiabatic system to prevent liquid oxygen from forming on the metal pipe wall.

Product Description

The flexible ULT system insulation system does not need to install a moisture barrier. Due to the unique closed cell structure and polymer blend formulation, LT low temperature elastomeric material has been highly resistant to water vapor permeation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q Does this insulation system require the installation of a moisture barrier?
No, the system does not need a moisture barrier. Thanks to its unique closed-cell structure and polymer blend formulation, the low-temperature elastomeric material is inherently highly resistant to water vapor permeation.
Q What is the recommended operating temperature range for the ULT and LT systems?
The recommended operating temperature range for the ULT system is from -200°C to 125°C. For the LT system, the recommended operating range is from -50°C to 105°C.
Q What are the thermal conductivity values of the ULT system at ultra-low temperatures?
The thermal conductivity of the ULT system is 0.028 W/(m·K) at -100°C and decreases to 0.021 W/(m·K) at -165°C, ensuring high thermal performance in cryogenic applications.
Q Does the system help protect against corrosion?
Yes, the elastomeric formulation is designed to minimize and protect against the risk of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), which is a common concern in piping and industrial applications.
Q What is the density range of these insulation materials?
The density of the ULT system ranges from 60 to 80 Kg/m³, while the LT system has a density range of 40 to 60 Kg/m³.
Q How flexible is the material for complex pipe shapes and configurations?
The insulation material is designed to maintain high flexibility even at extremely low temperatures down to -200°C. This allows for straightforward and efficient installation over complex shapes and fittings.
