ULT (Ultra-Low Temperature) base material is optimized for extreme cryogenic environments, featuring a recommended operating temperature down to -200°C and a density of 60-80Kg/m³. LT (Low Temperature) base material is designed for standard low-temperature applications, operating from -50°C to 105°C with a density of 40-60Kg/m³.
The materials are rigorously tested and comply with industry-recognized international standards, including ASTM C177 for thermal conductivity, ASTM D1622 for density, ASTM D2856 for close-cell structure, ASTM E 96 for water vapor permeability, and EN12086/EN13469 for wet resistance.
A high close-cell ratio (above 95%) ensures superior resistance to moisture penetration and water vapor transmission. This structure locks out ambient moisture, maintaining stable thermal conductivity and preventing corrosion under insulation (CUI) in cryogenic and freezing environments.
Under the ASTM C177 standard, the ULT material achieves an extremely low thermal conductivity of 0.028 W/(m·K) at -100°C, and drops further to 0.021 W/(m·K) at -165°C, ensuring exceptional thermal efficiency for liquefied gas systems.
The insulation is available in standard roll sizes: 3/4" (20mm) thickness rolls sizing 10m x 1m (providing 10㎡ per roll), and 1" (25mm) thickness rolls sizing 8m x 1m (providing 8㎡ per roll).
