Frequently Asked Questions

Q:What are the main materials used in your rubber foam insulation?

The primary materials are high-performance butyronitrile rubber and polyvinyl chloride (NBR, PVC), combined with auxiliary materials and manufactured via a specialized foaming process.

Q:What is the operating temperature range for this insulation tube?

This material operates efficiently within a temperature range of -50°C to 110°C, tested in compliance with standard GB/T 17794-1999.

Q:Does the material possess fire-resistant properties?

Yes, it is highly fire-resistant with a Class 0 and Class 1 fire rating according to BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7, and has a Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 under ASTM E 84.

Q:How does the closed-cell structure benefit the application?

The closed-cell structure provides high moisture resistance, prevents water vapor permeability (≤0.91×10 ﹣¹³ Kg/(m.s.pa)), and ensures excellent long-term thermal insulation performance.

Q:What international certifications does this product meet?

This insulation tube is certified to multiple standards, including BS476, UL94, DIN5510, ASTM, CE, REACH, ROHS, and GB standards.

Q:How resistant is the material to environmental factors like UV and fungi?

It exhibits good resistance to fungi (tested by ASTM G21), excellent ozone resistance (GB/T 7762-1987), and outstanding resistance to weathering and U.V. exposure (ASTM G23).
