Kingflex ULT is optimized for extremely low temperatures, with a recommended range of -200°C to 125°C. Kingflex LT is suitable for temperature applications ranging from -50°C to 105°C.
These materials are widely applied in low temperature storage tanks, industrial gas and agricultural chemical production plants, platform piping, gas stations, and nitrogen plants.
By maintaining a high closed-cell structure (>95%) and superior wet resistance (wet resistance factor μ > 10000 for Kingflex LT), the materials keep moisture away from the metal surface, which drastically reduces the risk of corrosion under insulation.
The insulation is available in standard roll sizes: 3/4" (20mm thickness) at 10m x 1m (10㎡/roll), and 1" (25mm thickness) at 8m x 1m (8㎡/roll).
Under the ASTM C177 standard, Kingflex ULT exhibits low thermal conductivity, measuring 0.028 W/(m·K) at -100°C and dropping to 0.021 W/(m·K) at -165°C.
