Frequently Asked Questions
What materials are used to manufacture these insulation pipes?
The insulation tubes are made from a high-quality blend of NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) and PVC. This formulation ensures they do not contain fibrous dust, benzaldehyde, or chlorofluorocarbons.
What temperature range can this insulation material withstand?
According to the technical standards (GB/T 17794-1999), the material has a stable operating temperature range from -50°C to 110°C.
What are the fire safety ratings of this product?
The insulation features a Class 0 and Class 1 fire rating tested according to BS 476 Part 6 and Part 7. It also has a Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index of 25/50 per ASTM E 84.
Does the insulation resist moisture and environmental degradation?
Yes. Thanks to its totally closed cell structure, the material displays excellent water vapor permeability resistance (μ ≥ 10000) and offers good resistance to fungi, ozone, U.V., and weathering.
Are customized sizes available for specific projects?
Yes, we provide different sizes according to the customer's specific requirements, making them ideal for a wide variety of pipework and ducting insulation applications.
