Frequently Asked Questions
What is the operating temperature range of Kingflex ULT?
The operating temperature range is -200°C to +110°C, making it highly effective for ultra-low temperature cryogenic environments.
Is the material resistant to weather and UV exposure?
Yes, the material exhibits good resistance to ozone, UV radiation, weathering, and fungi growth, which ensures long-term outdoor performance.
What is the thermal conductivity rating of this insulation?
The thermal conductivity is ≤0.028 W/(m.k) at -100°C and decreases to ≤0.021 W/(m.k) at -165°C, ensuring optimal energy conservation.
Where is this insulation system typically applied?
It is designed for LNG pipelines, low temperature storage tanks, FPSO systems, ethylene pipes, platform pipes, and industrial gas installations.
How does its closed-cell design benefit cryogenic applications?
The high-density closed-cell structure prevents moisture ingress, minimizes thermal bridges, and maintains structural integrity in cryogenic states.
