Engineered for minimal thermal bridging, condensation prevention, and fire-rated industrial protection.
Modern civil engineering and global commercial construction operate under strict environmental and structural regulations. Large-scale HVAC systems, petrochemical complexes, and power plants face huge thermal energy losses daily. Standard ductwork without advanced insulation becomes a primary source of thermal bridging, leading to massive energy waste, condensation damage, and structure-borne noise pollution.
Kingflex's Self-Adhesive Foil and Foam Duct Wrap represents the pinnacle of modern elastomeric insulation systems. Our high-density, closed-cell NBR/PVC matrix coupled with pure aluminum foil sheeting provides a comprehensive, multi-layer defense. This composite barrier stops heat transfer, acts as a vapor barrier (preventing moisture intrusion), and reduces system noise. As building standards like ASHRAE 90.1 and ISO 50001 become globally integrated, utilizing advanced thermal barriers is no longer optional; it is essential for project certification and long-term asset security.
A global leader in structural energy-saving insulation systems under the Jinwei Group framework since 1979.
Established by the Jinwei Group (originating in 1979), Kingflex has over 40 years of pioneering history. We were the first thermal insulation manufacturer established north of the Yangtze River, building a legacy of technical excellence in industrial and building insulation.
Operating 5 large-scale automated assembly lines, our facility outputs over 600,000 cubic meters annually. Kingflex is designated as a production enterprise by the Chinese Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Electric Power, and Ministry of Chemical Industry.
Our innovation is driven by 8 professional R&D engineers, supported by 6 international trade specialists and over 230 technicians on the shop floor, maintaining the highest quality standards across 66 global export markets.
Kingflex products have protected critical global infrastructure for over 16 years, ensuring HVAC system efficiency, preventing condensation in chilled lines, and damping noise in acoustic systems across commercial centers, processing plants, and airports.
Engineered performance metrics verifying thermal conductivity, density parameters, and functional longevity.
Our advanced duct wrap features a multi-layer composition engineered for performance. The core insulating layer consists of a dense, closed-cell NBR/PVC elastomeric rubber matrix, which provides excellent resistance to heat transfer and moisture absorption. This core is factory-laminated to a high-tensile, reinforced aluminum foil facing. The foil acts as a vapor barrier and reflects radiant heat, protecting the system from mechanical wear and tear.
An industrial-grade, pressure-sensitive self-adhesive backing is applied to the reverse side, protected by a quick-release liner. This ensures strong adhesion to sheet metal ducts, eliminating the need for separate pins, weld studs, or liquid adhesives. This design reduces installation times by up to 50%, while keeping seams tight and eliminating potential paths for thermal leaks.

We submit all thermal insulation wraps to third-party institutions for validation. We certify that our NBR/PVC closed-cell structures meet safety performance and environmental guidelines across North American, European, and Asia-Pacific markets.
Providing thermal control and environmental protection in commercial and civil infrastructure.
Applied to sheet metal ducts in central air systems to prevent heat gain or loss and eliminate condensation. The self-adhesive backing prevents air pockets, preserving the integrity of the vapor barrier.
Key Advantage: Reduces structure-borne fan noise and air velocity turbulence.Used on cold supply lines in environments with high humidity. The closed-cell structure blocks water vapor intrusion, protecting steel and copper pipes from corrosion under insulation (CUI).
Key Advantage: Maintains structural integrity across temperatures from -40°C to 105°C.Protects outdoor process piping from UV radiation, rain, and mechanical damage. Reinforced foil shields the inner NBR/PVC elastomeric core, preventing premature weathering.
Key Advantage: Resilient to chemical vapors and oil spills common in industrial plants.
The thermal insulation industry is shifting toward zero-VOC materials, low carbon footprints, and improved fire resistance. Kingflex is investing in next-generation elastomeric foams, developing bio-based polymers and hybrid closed-cell matrices to reduce reliance on petroleum inputs.
We are also exploring the integration of nanotech aerogel composites into thin-film elastomeric matrices. This promises to reduce material thickness while maintaining performance, helping architectural planners maximize usable floor space in commercial developments. By upgrading our automated lines, we continue to reduce energy usage during production, supporting sustainable building and operations.
