Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary applications of this rubber foam pipe?
It is widely used for insulating hot or cold medium piping and containers. Key industries include central control air conditioning (HVAC), construction, chemical processing, medicine, metallurgy, shipbuilding, automotive, and electrical apparatus.
What is the temperature range resistance of the material?
The product is designed to function effectively in temperature environments ranging from -50°C up to 110°C, and is suitable for a wide general application range of -40℃ to 120℃.
What makes this rubber foam pipe highly resistant to moisture and water vapor?
Due to its close and even bubble structure, the material exhibits extremely low water vapor transmissibility and a very low water absorptive capacity of 20% or less by volume, ensuring dry and efficient insulation.
Does this product meet fire safety standards?
Yes. It achieves Class 0 and Class 1 fire ratings according to BS 476 Part 6 & 7 test standards, along with a flame spread and smoke developed index of 25/50 per ASTM E 84, ensuring excellent fireproof performance.
Is the material resistant to environmental factors like UV or ozone?
Yes, it has verified "Good" resistance ratings against fungi (ASTM G21), ozone (GB/T 7762-1987), and U.V./weathering (ASTM G23), making it highly durable for long-term use.
Is this insulation pipe easy to install?
Yes. Thanks to its good flexibility, high elasticity, and strong tear strength, the foam pipe can be easily cut and fitted over complex piping configurations quickly.
