Frequently Asked Questions

What materials are the insulation pipes made of?

The insulation pipes are manufactured from a high-quality blend of nitrile rubber and polyvinyl chloride. They are completely free of fiber dust, benzaldehyde, and chlorofluorocarbons, ensuring safe and clean performance.

What are the primary thermal and physical properties of the rubber foam?

The product has low electrical and thermal conductivity (≤0.030 W/(m.k) at -20°C), outstanding moisture resistance, and operates efficiently within a temperature range of -50°C to 110°C.

How does this insulation perform in case of fire?

The rubber foam features excellent fire-resistant properties, achieving Class 0 & Class 1 fire ratings according to BS 476 Part 6 & 7 standards, alongside a 25/50 Flame Spread and Smoke Developed Index under ASTM E 84.

Is the insulation material resistant to environmental exposure?

Yes, it offers verified durability with excellent resistance to ozone (GB/T 7762-1987), fungi (ASTM 21), and U.V. / weathering (ASTM G23).

What forms and dimensions are available?

It is available in tube, roll, and sheet forms. The extruded flexible tubes are specifically formatted to fit standard diameters of copper, steel, and PVC pipes, while sheets are supplied in standard precut sizes or rolls.

How easy is it to install these insulated pipes?

Installation is very simple. They can be placed on new lines or retrofitted onto existing pipes. You only need to cut the material to size and glue it together, without affecting the material's insulating performance.
