Explore our foundational range of flexible elastomeric foam rolls and tubes engineered for high thermal performance, extreme temperature resistance, and structural longevity.
Deep technical insights into material composition, thermodynamic efficiencies, and structural applications across modern civil engineering, cryogenic processes, and industrial pipeline networks.
Kingflex elastomeric rubber foam exhibits a micro-cellular structure with a closed-cell ratio exceeding 98%. This physical arrangement restricts air convection inside the material, keeping the thermal conductivity (λ) remarkably low (≤ 0.034 W/m·K at 0°C). By isolating individual pockets of air, it eliminates moisture ingress routes, solving the critical threat of Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
Unlike open-cell alternatives like fiberglass or mineral wool, elastomeric NBR/PVC structures possess a high water vapor diffusion resistance factor (μ-value ≥ 10,000). This inherent vapor barrier eliminates the need for external secondary vapor wraps in standard HVAC conditions. This is essential for preventing condensation issues on chilled water pipelines and refrigerant lines.
Safety is the primary metric for building materials. Our formulations are design-engineered to meet stringent international fire rating parameters, including BS 476 Part 7 (Class 1), UL 94 (V-0 rating), and ASTM E84 flame spread and smoke development limits. The self-extinguishing nature of specialized Kingflex formulations ensures it does not propagate flame spread.
The performance of flexible pipe insulation is highly dependent on polymer compounding. NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) provides high oil resistance, tensile strength, and low thermal transfer properties. PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) enhances ozone resistance, UV aging performance, and flame retardancy. By combining these polymers in a precision vulcanization process, the resulting elastomer achieves a stable operating temperature envelope of -40°C to +105°C (-40°F to +221°F) for standard installations and down to -196°C (-320°F) in specialized multi-layer cryogenic installations.
Located in Dacheng, China—known globally as the capital of green-building materials—our factories are integrated with regional raw material suppliers and automated logistics. Operating 5 high-speed automated extrusion lines, Kingflex is capable of producing more than 600,000 cubic meters of flexible rubber foam per year. This allows us to offer scalable production, short lead times, and competitive wholesale pricing for commercial construction developments, industrial upgrades, and global logistics contracts.
To assist MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants, engineering design teams, and procurement departments in choosing the correct insulation systems, we maintain high standards across all dimensions:
| Insulation Type | Material Composition | Thickness Range | Inner Diameter (ID) Range | Service Temp. Envelope | Density Range |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Black Rubber Foam Sheet Roll | NBR/PVC Elastomer Blend | 6mm - 50mm | N/A (Roll Sheets) | -40°C to +105°C | 40 - 55 kg/m³ |
| Black Rubber Foam Pipe / Tube | NBR/PVC Elastomer Blend | 9mm - 40mm | 6mm - 114mm | -40°C to +105°C | 40 - 55 kg/m³ |
| Cryogenic System Layers | Special Low-Temp Synthetic Blend | Multi-layer Custom | Custom Fabrication | -196°C to +125°C | 50 - 65 kg/m³ |
Building codes vary significantly across international markets. Our NBR/PVC elastomeric formulations are certified to meet major international standards. This ensures compliance with local building regulations for developers in the EU, the Middle East, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region.
In harsh outdoor installations or heavy industrial environments, unprotected elastomeric foam is susceptible to UV degradation, mechanical impact, and chemical attack. To address this, we produce foil-clad and self-adhesive composites. Aluminum-clad configurations reflect heat radiation and provide mechanical protection, preventing wear from environmental exposure and cleaning washdowns in pharmaceutical and food-processing facilities.
Our sales and customer service teams support global EPC projects with structural pricing catalogs, chemical compliance documents, and export logistics tracking. This ensures transparent transactions and reliable supply lines for our clients.
Our complete product tracking system allows clients to verify the factory run and quality control data for each batch.
Kingflex insulation systems are used in commercial office buildings, industrial manufacturing facilities, chemical refineries, and public infrastructure projects worldwide.
We export to over 66 countries using standardized packaging procedures to protect materials from moisture and physical compression during long-distance transit.
